Smash Bro. Brawl Delayed Again

In what we can only hope is the relentless pursuit of perfection the Smash Bro. Dojo announced today that Super Smash Bro. Brawl will once again be delayed in both Japan and the U.S. The new U.S. ship date is now March 9, giving us another month of waiting and a whole lot more Dojo updates. The Japanese ship date in now Jan. 31. I guess one of the bright sides is the realization that this game has so much in it they can offer daily updates for another whole month but that really doesn’t stop the pain of being so close to owning the game and then having it wrenched from our grasps. Here are the exact words from the games producer Masahiro Sakurai, via the site:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

Now, if you’ll excuse me I have to go play Melee while weeping into my controller.

The Latest Nyko Wireless Nunchuck Images

This could be one of the most anticipated pieces of hardware for the Nintendo Wii. Having an untethered Nunchuck would be heaven…especially when boxing.

Nyko received a “Best of Ces” Award from the editors at CNET (www.cnet.com) and judging from the photos below, we can see why.

Using a dongle that attaches to the bottom of the Wii Remote, the Wireless Nunchuck features full accelerometer support for motion-based gameplay and is compatible with all games that require the Nunchuck controller attachment. The Nunchuck’s ergonomic design is perfect for both left and right-handed players. Two AAA Batteries (included) provide up to 30 hours of gameplay. The Wireless Nunchuck for Wii will be available in the first quarter of 2008.
