First Screens of Call of Duty: World at War for Wii

Whoa! Is that a Wii Game???

For most of us, Nintendo’s E3 press conference was a bore (unless your a crazy Animal Crossing/Wii music fan). But there was a couple of things that were pretty interesting, one of them being the Call of Duty: World at War trailer for Wii. The game looks completely amazing and when I first glanced at the screens, I thought it was the 360 version of the game. Even though they are using the award winning Call of Duty 4 engine, Treyarch has managed to somehow get it working on the Wii. Although they did have to downgrade it, the game is looking pretty close to the 360/PS3 versions. I’m very excited about this game, if it has a good control scheme, uses Wii speak, and has a good online system, I may actually buy it over the 360 version. Hopefully this game, along with The Conduit, sells well. Then we may see this surge of casual games turn the other way.
