Very well done. 4 of the greatest wii articles that have ever been written. As Tim says, they will be a perfect example of something to put in your portfolio.

I would be interested in knowing what percentage of the gaming population (PS3, XBOX360, WII) own HD televisions or surround sound. It would be nice to see the figures as a whole, and then also to see them broken out for each individual console. I would be willing to bet that a large percentage of game console owners don't have an HDTV to make full use of their hardware. And I bet the percentage would be even larger for Wii owners.

That is where the price comes into play. Why should someone pay a premium price for something that they are not going to get full use out of. If the XBOX360 and PS3 sold an alternative console that didn't have the HD hardware, I wonder how much cheaper it would be...and if it would be bought by the less "technologically advanced" consumer?

Thank you so much, Tim! It's comments like that, that make this whole job worthwhile. I personally can't wait to get my hands on Okami, and finish up Zack and Wiki so I can finally take on No More Heroes. It's a hard time to be a gamer on a budget right now, but I can't complain too much about a wealth of worthwhile titles, can I?

Thanks again, Tim!

Well done, Ilchymis.
Your entire series was well-thought out, thorough and engaging. It's definitely something for your portfolio.
I agree with everything that you've written. The Wii faces many problems, but hopefully Wii owners will get more developers who design intuitive games like Okami. On the other side of the coin, lets also hope that developers see the success of No More Heroes, thus proving the demand for hardcore games for Wii owners.
Once again, great series. Wish I had joined up with the My Wii News team earlier so I could have lent a hand.
