Logitech Unveils Official Wii Keyboard

Sexy and Sleek, It matches your Wii!

Have you always wanted a computer in your room? Well, here’s your chance to turn your Wii into one with Logitech’s officially licensed Wii keyboard. The sleek, new, Wii-matching keyboard provides easy text entry for both the Internet channel and games that support it. One game that will be supporting keyboards in the future will be Animal Crossings: City Folk so this will be a must buy for people not looking into Wii Speak. The Keyboard is cordless so there will be no annoying tangling between your keyboard and nunchuck controller. Hit the jump for an overview from the official Logitech site…

  • 2.4 GHz wireless technology: Allows you to easily enter text on the Wiiâ„¢ Internet Channel and in chat-oriented games from up to 30 feet (10 m) from the console.
  • Compact design: Easy to store, yet full-size keys allow for comfortable typing.
  • Easy setup: Just plug in the receiver and the keyboard works instantly.
  • Wiiâ„¢ system keys: Navigate the Internet and system with dedicated buttons for Zoom In/Out, Forward/Back, Quit, and OK.
  • Licensed for Wiiâ„¢: Ensures both design and technical compatibility.

Everything sounds good and I’ll probably be picking this keyboard up sometime in the future. I’ve always wanted a computer in my room, no matter how slow it is. The best part? It comes with AA batteries! Score!

I don’t have a dedicated keyboard yet, since I have a notebook instead of a desktop. So this will be nice to explore.

That’s one step closer to another Typing of the Dead.
