The speculation is over!
Its time to find out who all 12 hidden characters are, but if you like to be surprised by what secret characters are in the game while playing, STOP READING RIGHT NOW. This is the real, 100% confirmed roster and let me tell you, it is awesome! Are you ready???
Well, let’s take a look!

Thats the Final Roster, as you can see there are a number of new and old faces on there, but just in case you can’t tell who’s, who lets go through each secret character individually. First we’ll start with the returning secret fighters:
Ness

Captain Falcon

Marth

Falco

Luigi

Mr. Game & Watch

Ganondorf

Jigglypuff

That’s it for the veteran characters, and there were some pleasant suprises in there. I know you guys are dying to hear about the brand new characters coming to Brawl, so here they are:
Star Wolf

Lucario

R.O.B

Last but not least, the highly rumoured, Windwaker Link!

Well, what do you guys think about this? What I think is that, this has got to be the best Smash Bros. roster ever!!!
But wait, there is more! There are actually a couple of stages, that have never been confirmed that we have some screens of. Check these out:
Classic Mario Bros. Stage

Green Hill Zone

F-Zero’s Port Town

Luigi’s Mansion

and Electoplankton

Awesome right? Don’t worry, we’ll all be able to play this game on March 9th, but until then, keep marking off your calendars and checking up on our site for more Smash Bros. Info!
Rumours about a Windwaker Link have been found all over the internet ever since Brawl was announced, well… for all of you folks who have been wanting a Windwaker Link in Smash Bros. for ages now, don’t you go ranting on the nintendo forums just yet, there is still a chance! A leaked photo from what seems to be the japanese version of the game has been floating around the internet for a couple of days now, and you can clearly see Dark Windwaker Link selected as the character! Don’t go jumping for joy either though, this is not a screen from any magazine or official game website, so this could just be a photo done by some random person with some crazy photoshop skills. The picture seems to be taken off of a tv or some kind of monitor, which is what makes it believable. What makes it look as if it’s unbelievable is the fact that there is a character named robot right next to “Toon” Link, also the fact that Sakurai stated that there would be no more clone characters. Ganondorf and Captain Falcon were clone characters, yet, they appear in this player roster. There is always the chance that Sakurai just gave them different move sets, but who knows. Check out the picture below to see what i’m talking about.

Real or Fake? My guess is that it’s probably fake, but it appears that we won’t know until the game gets to Japan in a couple of days, we’ll make sure we give you guys an update on wether or not Windwaker Link made the cut.
An update on the Wii’s most anticipated game.
While the official Smash Bros. site is currently on a year-end holiday break from posting updates, there is a little more game information that has recently been released. While details are far from complete - it appears that Nintendo has a few new elements that appear to sweeten the pot a bit. They have announced at least one new instrument of death into the game itself — you can earn pieces of a airplane-like ship or ‘Dragoon’ through fighting - as seen below.

The Dragoon of course is broken into three and parts of it can be periodically earned throughout the game. Easier said than done I’m sure and this will be an item that is fairly difficult to obtain. Of course, given the amount of preparation required, it boasts tremendous firepower! Nintendo themselves has confirmed that this will be considered a one-hit KO. The Dragoon itself is in parts and must be collected and assembled. However, if you manage to collect all three parts, you will complete the legendary Air Ride machine…

Pretty awesome looking! I would say that in itself is cool — in fact, if that was all I knew is that this thing was going to be in the game I would say “Sweet!” But my friends, it just gets better and better …
Dragoon is formed - let’s go for a fly!

Target is locked!

FIRE!!!

Oh man. I am so going to go get in line at my local game store right now! The battle for this item is sure to be insane, perhaps even worse than the battles that will take place as fans try to get their hands on the game itself. But I digress… to make matters worse, you can actually lose Dragoon parts already collected while fighting others by dying — or collect them of course by putting a beatdown on an opponent who has one of the Dragoon parts and making him fumble it like a football. This is kill or be killed people!
I can only imagine that the scramble for these parts will be pretty incredible - especially in multiplayer mode! The joy of finally getting all three! Your enemies doing whatever they can to flee like the cowards you knew they were. It’s like Nintendo has added a delicious new spice, and this is going to be one kickass meatloaf! Served with a side of smashed potatoes and smothered in awesome.
In closing, you can see more information at the official site HERE - they have promised new posts starting January 7th. Of course, the game itself is over a month away. Hang tight and in the interim and keep your eyes peeled for these three items.
